Help

We hope MMC is easy for you to use, but here are some quick answers to questions you may have about the site and how to get the most out of it. If your question isn’t answered here, email us and we’ll help you.

Why do I need to register to see certain content or download some documents?

Registering for MMC allows us to keep you up to date with new content on the site according to your personal preferences. You can create your own MMC online, where you save and store documents that you’re interested in to come back and read later. It also lets you organise these documents according to the criteria that you’re interested in – by industry sector, target audience, campaign objective or media mix – so they’re quick and easy to reference.

Can I send documents from MMC on to friends or colleagues?

Once you’ve registered with MMC, you can share any of the site’s content with other people who may be interested in it. Select the document(s) you want to send and click on Email this article to a friend. Enter their name and email address, then hit Submit, and they’ll get the article(s) as well.

How do I view the Creative Showreel?

To look at the latest examples of exciting direct mail creative, you’ll need to have Flash version 9 installed on your computer. You can download the latest version of Flash here (opens in a new window).

How do I view the PDFs in the document library?

You’ll need to have Adobe’s Portable Document Format (PDF) reader installed on your computer. You can read PDF documents on any operating system (Windows, Macintosh or Linux). You can download the latest version of Adobe's PDF reader here (opens in a new window).

What browsers does MMC support?

If you’re using a PC, you can view all MMC content using MS Internet Explorer 6.0 and above, Opera and Mozilla Firefox 2.0 and above.

If you’re using an Apple Mac, you can view all MMC content using Safari 3.0 and above and Mozilla Firefox 3.0 and above.
