Mercedes-Benz 'Sprinter applies for a job' direct mail campaign

Author: Directory
Date: 18 April 2011

Mercedes-Benz created a piece of direct mail in the form of a job application to promote its Sprinter van to businesses.

The letter was written by the van itself - the words were carved into a tyre, which was then fitted back onto the vehicle and driven over a piece of paper. The ink was mud from the streets of Hamburg.

Campaign creators Lukas Lindermann Rosinski took an integrated approach, directing recipients to a microsite where they could see a video of how the letter was created.
