Whilst Internet access is increasing, there is still over one-fifth (22%) of adults who have not used the Internet in the past year.

This includes 58% of those over 65, 24% of women, 41% of those in social group E, 45% of Mosaic group Active Retirement, 40% of those who have entered retirement, 26% of those with children who have got married in the past year and  49% of those with Osteoporosis.

The key issue is that many of those with money and who are looking to spend do not have access to the Internet and are suitable candidates to receive direct mail.
