Cabestan direct mail case study
Author: B2B Marketing
Date: 19 January 2010
European email marketing company, Cabestan came out fighting when it opened its first UK office in October 2008, sending its B2B audience of marketing decision makers a high impact direct mailer.
Its VIP list of 20 contacts received a single boxing glove, and a further 500 got a poster of a boxer with an oversized glove on one hand and bandages on the other.
Created by GyroHSR, the campaign message ‘Purpose built to deliver high impact’ conveyed Cabestan’s tailored email marketing. The main aim of the piece was to drive traffic to a campaign microsite, where visitors could book a free consultation.
This campaign helped generate Cabestan’s first four customers within a few months, and the company expects more will follow when its prospects’ contracts expire with their existing email service providers.
