Christmas is a difficult time to win new business, but ad agency Draftfcb drummed up interest by sending prospective clients a novel piece of direct mail.
Not a Christmas card but a letter to Santa, listing all the things they wanted. At the very top of the wish list was to have the recipient as a client.
All the agency’s services were integrated into the list and it was personalised with a Post It note. The mailing led to seven appointments and one invitation to pitch for new business.
