Skoda direct mail case study
Author: Xtreme Directory
Date: 01 July 2007
For the Skoda Fabia launch campaign, Archibald Ingall Stretton used online advertising, a microsite and direct mail to generate test drive and brochure requests.
The TV commercial showed a car being constructed out of cake and icing. The microsite was based around a 3D car, set in a bakery and rich with ‘edible’ ingredients.
The mail piece was based on a car air freshener that was scented with the aroma of chocolate fudge cake – the idea being that the car would smell as yummy as it is to drive.
