Tailoring targeted data - Transactis survey

Companies which don't use their data to tailor their communications and promotions are missing a trick, new research by Transactis shows.

A Transactis survey shows that 80% of UK consumers would be happy to hand over more data if they knew it would be used to provide relevant perks.

People in their late twenties and early thirties are most comfortable with handing over extra information, those in their late fifties or early sixties were least happy. This age group were most likely to think that companies which deliver good customer service were more likely to look after customers' personal details.
